SERIES 18 // SANDY KERR

The North East coast isn’t exactly the first place you’d imagine a professional surfer being raised, but Sandy Kerr isn’t exactly your average pro surfer. He’s ventured from the jungles of Indonesia to the East Coast of Taiwan, to the Hawaiian Islands and all corners of the European Continent in the name of surfing. However, his real passion will always be big wave surfing. Cutting his teeth in the harsh conditions of the North Sea, there is nowhere Sandy would rather catch the big waves than on home turf, against the industrial backdrop of the North East. Sandy is a truly hardened Northern professional surfer.
