Released to celebrate International Women's Day 2024, Take a Chance is a West Coast Pale Ale showcasing hop varieties from female-operated hop farms in the US and New Zealand.
Once again celebrating women in beer and inclusivity in the industry, profits from sales of the beer, will be match by our Faith in Futures Foundation, and donated to Working Chance, a charity that offers support to women with convictions to find jobs.
Working Chance is the UK’s only employment charity solely for women with convictions. They help women with convictions to develop the confidence, skills and self-belief they need to overcome any barriers to their employment, find jobs and build careers.
Working Chance work with organisations of all sizes across all sectors to find opportunities for women that align with their skills and aspirations. Since 2009, Working Chance has supported thousands of women into employment and many more on their journeys towards financial independence. To women with convictions, a job is more than an income - it means a future where she and her family can flourish.
A donation of £5,000 could provide one-to-one support for 20 women to find and
secure employment opportunities, including practical support on writing CVs and
job applications, interview techniques and how to disclose convictions in
recruitment processes.
The beer is made using Bru-1, Motueka, Simcoe hops which will bring notes of lime, pineapple, tropical fruit and a touch of pine to this West Coast Pale Ale.
