    Our people are at the heart of Northern Monk. We're committed to creating an inclusive and supportive workplace where everyone has the opportunity to develop, backed by investment in wellbeing, learning and development, and meaningful employee benefits.

  • PLANET

    Brewing has an environmental impact, and we're working to reduce ours. From cutting emissions and improving energy efficiency to reducing waste and water use, we're measuring our impact and setting clear targets for where we need to improve.

  • COMMUNITY

    We believe business should have a positive impact on the communities around it. By the end of 2025, we'd donated Ā£150,000 to community projects and causes across the North, supporting organisations working across access to nature, creativity, inclusion and community support.

In August 2025, Northern Monk became a certified B Corporation, recognising our commitment to making a positive impact on our people, our communities and the planet.

B Corp certification looks beyond the beer we brew to how we operate as a business - from our environmental impact and the way we support our people, to how we work with and invest in our communities.

Certification is an important milestone, but it isn't the end goal. It's a commitment to keep measuring our impact, being transparent about our progress and continuing to do better.
