After last month’s Fresh From having the freshest hops from the furthest away, this month’s release boasts hops harvested from as close as we can manage.

It’s our annual green hop release with the Harewood Food & Drink Project!
Due to the nature of Harewood’s hop garden, it’s hard to figure out exactly what hops are going in the beer. Starting with a mix of classic British hops, often Fuggles and Challenger, a season of cross-pollination becomes hard to keep track of. But there’s no denying the freshness these hops bring. A bright fruity flavour and grassy aroma that hard to replicate with conventional hops.
Green hop beers are a special seasonal treat made using hops that are taken straight from the bine and put into the boil as quickly as possible. A true icon of the British beer calendar and one we look forward to every year.
